Requesting a Data Export

Need to export your data from our platform for analysis, backup, or migration purposes? We make it easy to request a comprehensive data export.

Data Export Contents

A standard data export package will include:

• All user-generated content (posts, comments, files, etc.)
• User profile information and settings
• Account-level data and preferences
• System logs and activity history

Exports are provided in common file formats like CSV, JSON, or XML for easy portability and analysis.

Submitting an Export Request

To request a data export:

1. Log into your account and navigate to Settings
2. Click on the "Data & Privacy" tab
3. Under "Data Export", click the "Request Export" button
4. Select the desired data range and file format
5. Confirm your request

You'll receive a confirmation email and your export will begin processing. Large exports may take up to 48 hours to complete.

Securing Your Export

To protect your data, all exports are encrypted and password-protected by default. When your export is ready, you'll receive:

• A secure download link to access the export file(s)
• A randomized password to unlock the download

Be sure to store your data securely and never share the download link or password with unauthorized parties.
