Rolling Back to a Previous Version
If you encounter issues after updating to a new version of our software, it's easy to roll back to a previous stable version.
Backup Before Rollback
Before initiating a rollback, we recommend backing up your current data:
- Log into your account and go to Settings
- Navigate to the "Backups" section
- Click "Create New Backup"
- Confirm to start the backup process
This ensures you have a restorable point for your current version data before rolling back.
Initiating the Rollback
To roll back to a previous software version:
- Access your account Settings
- Click on "Manage Versions" under the Software tab
- Identify the previous stable version you want to roll back to
- Click the "Rollback" button next to that version
- Carefully review the rollback confirmation details
- Confirm to start the automated rollback process
The rollback may take several minutes to complete depending on the size of your data and complexity of the version changes.
Verifying the Rollback
Once the rollback process finishes, we recommend checking that:
- Your software is now running the intended previous version
- All core features and data are functioning as expected
- Integrations or plugins are working with the rolled-back version
If you notice any issues or inconsistencies after the rollback, please contact our support team right away.
Temporary Rollback Limitations
Please note that after rolling back, you will be temporarily unable to:
- Perform another rollback for 24 hours
- Upgrade to a new software version for 7 days
This is to protect data integrity and prevent rollback loops. If you need an exception, please contact support to discuss your situation.
